Product Introduction

Rectifiers are key components of cathodic protection systems. In these rectifiers, a dry or oil transformer is typically used to convert grid voltage to a lower voltage, and the output voltage on the transformer’s secondary side is regulated using a thyristor bridge (usually half-controlled) by adjusting the thyristor firing angle.
Cathodic protection rectifiers are used in various power ratings to protect against corrosion in metallic installations such as oil platforms, water and gas pipelines, etc.

The Azonic cathodic protection rectifier controller is a fully digital controller capable of precisely adjusting the rectifier’s output voltage and current in any operating condition.
This controller can send commands to the half-thyristor bridge. All measurement and control inputs and outputs are electrically isolated from the processor and user interface, enhancing system reliability.
A unique advantage of this controller is its integrated protection of the transformer and bridge against input voltage fluctuations, phase loss, phase sequence errors, overcurrent, and short-circuit at the output.

Features:

- Suitable for upgrading various rectifiers
- Output voltage control in the range of 5 to 200 volts
- Ability to measure shunt output current up to 150 amperes
- Protection against phase sequence errors, phase loss, and output short-circuit
