Punches are used with the manual hydraulic punching device to prepare specimens for tensile tests. For cutting the material from which the specimen is made, the punch’s durability must be high enough to prevent damage to its edges under pressure (often exceeding 2 tons).

Punches manufactured by Azonic are made from special cutting steel alloys and hardened. These punches are produced through a two-stage machining process, followed by sharpening of their edges.
